Rehab week 2011

Welcome to INRS 2011
In the summer of 2011 three international conferences in the field of Rehabilitation Science and Engineering will join forces as the Rehab Week Zurich for a week of intensive cross-disciplinary knowledge transfer. The International Conference on Rehabilitation Robotics, ICORR 2011, the International Neurorehabilitation Symposium, INRS 2011, and the International Conference of Virtual Rehabilitation, ICVR 2011, will host clinicians and engineers exchanging their experience in different research areas. This landmark event will take place in beautiful Zurich, Switzerland, from June 27 until July 1, 2011. All organizers are members of the RITZ (Rehabilitation Initiative and Technology Platform Zurich).

What is the evidence that shapes therapeutic decisions in neurorehabilitation? Are the methods of evidence-based medicine fully applicable to neurorehabilitation and its modern technologies? These are the main questions the International Neurorehabilitation Symposium 2011 will try to answer. An international selection of experts in the field will present and discuss these topics. This event is organized by the European research project MUNDUS, the Centre for outpatient Rehabilitation (ZAR) in Zurich and the company Hocoma, and will be held from June 27 to 29, 2011 at the Science City of ETH Zurich in Switzerland.

The INRS is an international conference organized in Zurich since 2004 and for the forth time already it is intended to offer clinicians and scientists a valuable platform to discuss trends, to share expertise, to exchange ideas and to gain knowledge to assess and use new technologies and therapy concepts in their daily practice. Information and impressions from the INRS 2009, with participants from more than 40 different countries, can be found at www.inrs2009.com.

We are looking forward to seeing you in Zurich in June 2011.
